About the event
This workshop will be a dynamic experience where the activities we will engage in will vary from technical and structured to improvisational and explorative. There will be educational opportunities to learn movements within ground flow locomotion and acrobatics, mobility, and strength. As well as a facilitated space to play, explore, and connect on the four levels of relationship (personal, inter-personal, environmental, and spiritual). We will use a scaffolding of varied activities that are inspired by parkour, gymnastics, dance, martial arts, and play-fighting, with specific prompts to dive deeper into the present moment come closer to the somatic understanding of aligned action.
